A 53-year-old man will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today charged with rape and sexual assault, following a series of attacks in the South Birmingham area.

Elvis Sidaway, of Fountain Road, Edgbaston is charged with one count of rape and seven counts of sexual assault in connection with offences committed in Selly Oak, Quinton and Edgbaston between November 2016 and January this year.
